Description
The Motorola TLK 25 is a compact wearable that puts WAVE PTX push-to-talk on a lanyard, badge clip or belt. Instead of a traditional handheld, staff carry a discreet device with a full-front PTT button and an earpiece, so front-of-house teams in hotels, stores, schools and hospitals can stay in touch without a visible radio or a loud external speaker.
The TLK 25 connects over your existing Wi-Fi network or over a nationwide LTE network, and a Wi-Fi-only model is available for sites that never need cellular coverage. Because it runs on WAVE PTX, it talks to the WAVE PTX mobile app on smartphones, to TLK Series radios and to MOTOTRBO fleets, so different roles in the same organization can each use the device that suits them.
Safety is built in. A dedicated emergency button turns the TLK 25 into a panic button, lone worker and fall alert detect incidents automatically, and precise indoor location helps responders find the right person and the right room quickly. An intuitive voice assistant, driven by natural language processing, lets users place calls, check status and manage the device without touching it.
Devices are set up, managed and updated remotely from the WAVE PTX portal, and batches can be configured in minutes with the TLK Configuration app. A QR code on the device links new users to a Get Started page, which keeps training short in high-turnover roles.
