The iTalkPTT 660 is the rugged option in the iTalkPTT range, built for construction sites, plants, transport yards and anywhere else a radio gets wet, dusty or dropped. It carries an IP67 rating and is tested to MIL-STD-810G, so it keeps working in conditions that would sideline a smartphone.
Push-to-talk calls run over public 4G networks, which means a user in Northern Virginia can talk to a colleague in Maryland or across the country with no repeaters, licensing or range planning. Individual, group and emergency calls are all supported, and voice announcements confirm status and group changes so the user never has to look at the screen.
Power is a priority. The standard 4000 mAh battery covers a long shift, an 8000 mAh high-capacity pack is available for multi-day use, and an internal backup battery keeps the radio alive during a battery swap so users stay reachable.
A 1.77-inch full-color display, loud speaker with noise reduction and a professional PTT key round out a radio that behaves like a radio while riding on the cellular network.
